Yindjibarndi Creation Story
At Brains Design, I contributed to a meaningful educational app project for the Juluwarlu Group Aboriginal Corporation, centred around the Yindjibarndi Creation Story. Working within a small team—illustrations by Troy Smith, animation by Sebastion Danta, and production led by Bess Batterham—we crafted this bilingual experience in both English and Yindjibarndi. This animation was designed to sync across both languages, enabling Indigenous communities to share their cultural narratives with a wider audience while respecting linguistic heritage. My role focused on animating the backplates, flora, fauna, and secondary characters, utilising projection mapping to achieve depth and parallax effects that bring the Yindjibarndi story to life. The result is an immersive, interactive experience that invites users to explore Yindjibarndi cultural heritage in an engaging and accessible way.
